The setting is a large corrupt city in 1930. The given protagonist is Lucas Brooks, a young man working for a large newspaper. His sister is falsely accused of murder, but as he snoops he exposes the real killers, part of a gang of bootleggers. Graphics are photo realistic, music is appropriate to the time. Items are historically accurate. An adult can appreciate subtle humor in the newspaper transitions. Liquor and violence and corruption are mentioned, but not graphically emphasized. There is a mini pool game which generates a hint when the table is cleared.
